Drugstore Nude Lipstick Collection

Nude lipsticks are currently my favourite lipsticks to wear. Since we are in summer, I prefer to wear lipsticks that look more natural and are easier to wear as you do not have to keep on topping it up throughout the day and wondering if you have gotten lipstick on your teeth.

Maybelline Colour Sensational- Nude Beige

This is my absolute favourite lipstick of all time. If I'm wearing a natural nude lip it is probably this. It has a little bit of sheen to it but not too much that it looks like a gloss. It is one of the most comfortable lipsticks I have , it lasts forever (especially if you use a lip liner) but it does not fade awkwardly on the lips that you have that horrible line around your lips. Would totally recommend this product!

Rimmel Kate Moss lasting finish - 08

I am surprised that this lipstick has not been talked about in the beauty blogging world at the moment. This is the perfect lipstick for the dark nude 90's trend that everyone is raving about . This is a matte finish lipstick but it is not drying on the lips at all. This is a dupe for the MAC lipsticks that everyone has this summer but at the fraction of the price.

New Look Pure Colour - Deep Pink

This is more on the pink nude scale rather than the other lipsticks as the name suggests. Last summer this was my everyday lipstick but my colour sensational replaced it. It is slightly drying on the lips and does not last as long but for £3.99 you really cannot complain.

Max Factor - Rose Wood
This is my least used nude lipstick that I have. It is a very shiny lipstick which I tend to find does not suit me as much. However it is a very comfortable lipstick and I think it would suit someone of a darker skin tone than fair skin.

Sleek Matte Me - Shabby Chic
This is one of the most recent new releases that I have. I was really excited when these came out as I am a massive fan of Sleek and I love liquid lipsticks. However, I was really disappointed with this product. In the bottle it looks like a really pink nude but when it dries it is very dark which does not suit my skin tone at all. Unlike regular liquid lipsticks, this does not dry completely which makes a very sticky feeling on the lips. After a couple of hours, this becomes far too dry which makes you take it off as it is very uncomfortable. I have not tried other lipsticks in this range and with liquid lipsticks, formulas tend to change but I would not recommend this product at all.

Sleek Highlighter Pallete Review

Everyone has been talking about the new highlighter palettes from Sleek. They are one of the most beautiful highlighters I've ever seen and even nikkietutorials loves them and that's saying something because she is the queen of highlighters.

Solstice Pallete

This is the one that everyone is talking about and I know why! There is one cream colour which I have to admit I have nor used much. But the three powders are the most pigmented . The one I have used the most is the pink undertoned highlighter as it gives the most natural effect. Another tip is double this up as a blush to give a glowy look to the skin. The golden tone highlighter is the most pigmented one and if you want to blind someone with your highlighter this is the one for you. Because I prefer a more natural highlight I blend it with my foundation brush so that I don't blind everyone. The lilac toned one is the most fun and I think it would be great if you are going to a festival to add something different to your cheeks. This palette is perfect for fair skin and for being on the high street it is one of the most affordable highlighter pallets on the market.

Precious Metals Pallete

This is the highlighter palette you want if you have a darker skin. Three of the colours are cream and the last one is a powder. I use the lightest cream as a brow bone highlight but you do have to blend it in a lot so that it is more natural. The other creams I do not use but that is because I have a fairer complexion but I think that it would look beautiful for those with a darker skin tone. The powder highlight in this palette can be used as a bronzer to give you a bronzed glowy look.

Glossy Box Review

Glossy box is a monthly beauty subscription box which each month, they deliver a diverse selection of 5 beauty treats that include niche, high-end and emerging brands. Their global experts curate the latest trends and products to bring you reusable and stylish boxes full of beauty essentials, that will leave you looking and feeling great, time after time. Here is what I got in my august box:
MeMeMe Lip glide: playful peach £6.95
This is a matte-velvet lip crayon which even though it is matte, it doesn’t feel dry on the lips and actually still moisturises the lip. This colour is a coral/pink but unfortunately it doesn’t suit my skin tone but I do think that it suit a darker skin tone. Because it is a crayon it is so simple to apply and would be perfect to just put into your handbag to put on throughout the day.
Manna Kadar Lash Primer £14.55
This is not something that I would call a necessity in your everyday make-up bag but if you do want bigger lashed to go with a smoky eye then this would be perfect. When I first saw this I didn’t think I would like it at all, it makes your eyelashes white and felt a bit gloopy but when I put my normal mascara on top it did make my eyelashes longer. I’ve got to admit it didn’t give me much volume and made my eyelashes clump together slightly but it is an alternative to wearing false lashes and easier too!
Emite artist colour powder blush £20.59
Would you call this a blusher or a bronzer? Well I’ve named it a ‘blunzer’. It’s a very red toned powder so I would use it on the top of the cheeks and not as a contour. This power adds warmth to your face so it could give the illusion that you are quite tanned even if you aren't. This is perfect for the summer if you’ve got a tan but as again because I’m pale I wouldn’t use this everyday and certainly not when it's the winter. This would be a perfect blush for a darker skin tone.

Naobay calming face toner £10.65
Surprisingly this is my favorite product from the box! You would think that is just a normal toner but it also removes your make-up so easily. I actually think this is doing better than my normal Simple make-up remover. It has chamomile and guto kola extracts that help calm and hydrate the skin and I feel like this has actually helped the redness in my skin. I cannot fault this product at all. Go and get it!

Sass purifying cleanser
I’ve got to admit I don’t see anything special with this product at all. It lathers up well but it doesn’t smell amazing and it’s just something I wouldn’t buy again. Not impressed!

June Favorites !

Hey guys , the month of June has been a very busy month with my sisters wedding and a little secret project that I can't speak about. Here are my beauty favorite of these months , hope you enjoy.

I don't know if you've noticed but New Look has brought out a new make-up line for their stores. After a long day at collage I decided to bite the bullet and buy some.So one of my favorites from this month is New Look's Lipstick in Deep Pink. It is one of them colour's that you can just throw on and it will look fantastic. The consistency of the lipstick is very balmy which means that it doesn't stay on all day. But I don't think you can complain about that when they only cost £3.99.

Another favorite is still from New Look and it is their baked eye shadow in 15 Biscuit. It is honestly one of the most beautiful eye shadows I think that I've ever bought. I have been wearing it ever since I've got it. The way I've been wearing it is on top of Maybelline Color tattoo (On and on bronze) and it gives you a beautiful smoky eye with not much effort which is a bonus.

I've been loving this combination of colour's on my lips at the moment. For the undercoat I have been putting on Maybelline's colorsensation in velvet beige and onto it I've been putting on the lip gloss blush essence again from Maybelline. The reason I have been doing this is because I think that velvet beige is a little to brown for me as I'm very . The lip gloss on its own is very pretty but the lipstick just makes it a beautiful colour. It is also perfect for the summer!

I could not to my June Favorites with out mentioning my sisters wedding. My sister is officially Mrs Dobson which is slightly strange. Even though it caused a lot of stress it was a beautiful day and I couldn't be happier for her. For a wedding present she got me this stunning necklace which is just so elegant. It is one of those simple necklaces which you can wear every day (which I've been doing). I could talk about the wedding all day but I'm sure you don't want to hear me waffle on !

Just before the wedding , I don't know if any one noticed, I got my hair cut . It is now at shoulder length which means that I can't just throw it in bun everyday. So I started to use this salt spray and it has changed my hair world. It gives so much texture into the hair which gives me what I like to call 'sass hair'. It is a surprise what a simple thing can do!

My last favorite for this month is this Mist spray which I got from my glossy box this month(www.glossybox.co.uk/). You can use it just to refresh yourself throughout the day or you can use it to set your make-up (which I have been doing). By doing this it means that my face has been looking less dry because when I was using my pressed powder it was making my skin look flaky and not very nice at all. I will defiantly buying this or another mist when this runs out.

Love me Beauty Review

Love me beauty is monthly subscription service where you get to pick samples of skin care , beauty, nails ect. I think that this beauty box is an excellent treat at the end of the month as you are able to pick new things that you probably wouldn't normally buy if you were in a drugstore shop. However the only con with this box is that you only get a small sample of the product you get but I think this is justified with the price as it only costs £10. This box is perfect for someone who is new to beauty and skin care and you also get a range of products to choose from to put in your box .
The things i got in my box :

Monu : Micro Exfoliant

I wasn't a fan of this product very much. To start of the smell is very strong which smells a lot of peppermint. Also when I used it I felt as it was too harsh and felt like it was scratching my skin which is not a thing you want.I would not recommend the product at all!

Monu : Fiji facial treatment oil

Unlike the other product I really liked this product. I thought that because my skin is very acne prone this wouldn't be good for my skin. However when I wake up on the morning from the night I've put it on my skin is feeling like it is glowing and has a new lease of like. Even though it is only a small sample I feel like this oil has lasted a long time as you only need a small amount on you face and I would recommend to use this after you have moisturised on a night.

Organic surge : Face polish

I absolutely love this product! I use it as an exfoliant as it has small little beads in it which at first I thought were too harsh but actually I think it was me being too harsh. It has rosemary and lemon in it which create a lovely smell which isn't too strong . When I have used this product I feel as if my skin is so soft which is a great feeling. I would recommend to use this product a few times a week. The only thing I wish had happened was that I had gotten a bigger bottle !

Organic surge : Deep cleansing face mask

This product was ok but not amazing . It again has a lovely smell as it is the same as the face polish. But I feel as if it doesn't do anything for my skin but that could just be me.

Mirabella lipstick in FEVER

Sadly this is the only beauty product I got in this box.It is an amazing bright red which would be perfect from the summer but I feel that it is a little bit too shiny for me as I prefer a more matte lipstick. The one thing I did notice from this lipstick is that it is smaller that a normal lipstick size and that is probably because I got it from love me beauty.
